Thank you for your support in the recent election, while the outcome wasn't what we'd hoped for, campaigning and meeting so many of you was more than I ever could have anticipated. Best of luck to Michelle Ciccolo, who won the primary, I know she will serve us all very well in the Middlesex 15th district. Until we meet again!
My name is Joe Lahiff and I would like to represent you as the State Representative for the 15th Middlesex District in the Massachusetts State House.
My experience in law enforcement and health care make me uniquely qualified to represent our district.
A longtime resident, I graduated from Lexington High School in 1986. My wife, Kelly, and I have been married 26 years. Our three children, Taylor, John, and Joe, all graduated from Lexington High School. Before retiring in 2009, I served in the Lexington Police Department for 22 years, most recently as a Detective/School Resource Officer for the last five years at Minuteman Regional High School.
Currently, I work in a Woburn-based company, NuPath, as the Director of Asset Management. NuPath's Mission, is “to make life's journey happier, healthier and more fulfilling for people living with disabilities." NuPath recently celebrated its 50th year of service, having been headquartered in Woburn since 1967.
In addition to living in Lexington, I have been an active participant and member of the community. Whether its volunteering as the Lexington Bedford Hanscom (LBH) Pop Warner Coach, Lexington Youth Baseball Coach or as a parent volunteer coach for the Lexington High School Football Program, my commitment to the children of this community has always been a top priority.
Being employed in Woburn has allowed me to develop closer ties to the Woburn community and its constituencies. I am an active member of the Woburn Host Lions Club, participating in the annual Woburn Parade each October.
My combination of work experience, volunteering, and community service provide me with a full understanding of the entire 15th Middlesex District and the issues that affect your daily lives.
